Job summary

ATB Financial invites applications for a 2027 Investment Banking Summer Analyst in Calgary. The role supports the Energy coverage team across oil & gas, midstream, and energy transition sectors. Qualifications

• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with detailed attention to numbers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word; familiarity with financial databases (S&P Capital IQ, FactSet, Bloomberg).

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive pitch books, client presentations, and marketing materials.
• Support deal teams through execution lifecycle of advisory and financing mandates.
• Evaluate corporate financial health, perform valuation analyses, and build financial models.
• Conduct industry and company research to track market trends and identify opportunities.
