Job summary

ATB Financial in Alberta is seeking a Strategy Analyst to support planning, performance measurement, and cross‑team initiatives within the Sustainability, Relationship and Impact division. You will translate executive direction into structured plans, build presentations, and help connect strategy to daily work.

The role is a 6‑month term with a hybrid work arrangement (1–2 days on-site weekly). A strong analytical mindset and collaboration with senior leaders across divisions are essential.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in a business discipline or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Management or Corporate/Functional strategy; minimum 5 years of direct strategy experience.
• Strong understanding across finance, operations, communications, and people & culture.
• Analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and systems-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, with ability to translate executive direction into structured plans.
• Experience building partnerships and delivering presentations to senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates cross-SRI projects through initiation, development, and implementation.
• Engages with executives and senior stakeholders and translates direction into clear frameworks.
• Creates executive-ready presentations to communicate complex concepts simply.
• Applies project management to move initiatives from ideation to implementation.
• Conducts external research to support priority projects with new insights.
