Job summary

Saskatchewan Polytechnic Prince Albert Campus is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to provide frontline IT support for end users and academic labs. The role includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading devices to ensure optimal workstation performance, reporting to the Endpoint Compute & Desktop Services Manager.

You will deploy, configure and support software, security, and patching, while developing and maintaining documentation and guides.

Qualifications

Two-year Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent Canadian credential.
Experience in enterprise IT environment with customer-facing support.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, peripherals and mobile devices.
Experience communicating via remote, phone, email, chat and in person.
Familiarity with service management, remote management and client tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Provide single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance.
Install, diagnose, repair, maintain and upgrade end-user devices and labs.
Support software deployment, endpoint protection and patch management.
Standardize enterprise images and maintain environment consistency.
Create and maintain technical documentation and guides.
Participate in extended support hours as required.
