Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients in Saskatoon. You will handle Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals, troubleshoot LAN connectivity, and assist with hardware installations.

Qualifications

Weakness-free written and verbal communication in English; comfortable interacting with end-users.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments.
Experience in hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
Basic understanding of networking (LAN, switches, routers).
Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
