Job summary

Long View Systems is seeking a Proposal Specialist to own the end-to-end proposal lifecycle, collaborating with Sales and Technical SMEs to craft compelling submissions that demonstrate client value.

Role will be based out of Calgary, with openness to candidates in Edmonton, Toronto or Vancouver. The position is a 12-month maternity leave contract, with potential extension or conversion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proposal management experience.
• 2+ years of business writing, proofreading, and editing experience.
• Strong verbal and written business communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and solid working knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Experience with proposal management software.
• Willingness and flexibility to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Own the proposal process from kickoff to submission, ensuring every opportunity is delivered with excellence.
• Create persuasive, client-focused proposals that tell a compelling story and highlight value of Long View's solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales and technical teams to shape winning strategies and develop high-quality content.
• Coordinate multiple contributors, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Drive continuous improvement through proposal analysis, lessons learned, and win/loss tracking.
• Elevate proposal quality through expert editing, proofreading, formatting, and submission management.
• Deliver polished, professional proposal packages that leave a lasting impression on clients.
• Support broader business initiatives and contribute wherever your expertise can make an impact.
