Job summary

UAP Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to provide strategic and operational HR support across divisions in Montreal, Quebec.

This contract role runs until end of April 2027 and focuses on implementing HR policies, promoting best practices, and ensuring a high-quality employee experience. You will work with the Employee Relations Business Partner, participate in HR projects, coach managers on performance and health & safety matters, and assist with onboarding, training, and committee

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field with 5+ years as HR Generalist.
• Bilingual in French and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support HR policies, processes, and programs across divisions.
• Coach managers on employee relations and performance management.
• Manage HR programs including performance reviews, vacation, and health & safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with talent attraction and HR team on strategic projects.
• Coordinate health and safety plans and claims follow-up.
• Support store transitions between company-owned and associate-owned stores.
• Organize HR-related events and participate in committees.
