Job summary

The Saskatchewan Workers' Compensation Board is inviting applications from individuals who are passionate about helping others and delivering excellent customer service. In this field position, you will assess worker needs, administer benefits, and lead recovery and return-to-work planning in collaboration with workers, employers, health-care providers, unions, and other service providers.

You will manage a caseload, prepare clear decisions, and ensure adherence to procedures for return-to-work

Qualifications

  • University degree in health care, education, social sciences, disability management or business is required.
  • Minimum of one year case management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of individual workers and administer the benefits of the Workers’ Compensation Act.
  • Exercise leadership in goal-oriented recovery and collaborative return-to-work planning.
  • Partner with workers, employers, health-care providers, unions, and other service providers to ensure appropriate recovery and return-to-work planning.
  • Manage assigned caseloads; prepare plain language decisions; adhere to return-to-work procedures.
  • Approve and authorize services and benefits for injured workers.
