Job summary

CAA Atlantic is seeking an Emergency Roadside Service (ERS) Technician to be the reassuring face on the roadside, delivering trusted towing and roadside assistance with safety and care. You’ll handle calls for lockouts, tire changes, fuel delivery, and battery boosts while maintaining vehicles and equipment to high standards.

This hands-on role requires safety-minded, reliable team players who can work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with 4 days on and 4 days off shifts. Immediate start.

Qualifications

  • Air Brake Endorsement (required) and a valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
  • Pre-employment drug and alcohol test and fitness-for-duty assessment.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 70 lbs safely.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with comfort working on vehicles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service, under pressure.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Positive, reliable and safety-conscious attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and efficient towing services for Members.
  • Deliver roadside assistance: lockout, tire changes/repairs, fuel delivery, battery boosts.
  • Support battery testing, sales and installation for Battery Service Program.
  • Communicate clearly with Members and Dispatchers to ensure timely service.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment in clean, reliable condition.
  • Follow all safety, traffic and company operating procedures.

As an Emergency Roadside Service (ERS) Technician, you'll be the reassuring face of CAA Atlantic on the roadside, delivering trusted towing and roadside assistance with professionalism, safety, and care. In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you'll take pride in providing safe and efficient towing services while performing a wide range of roadside support, from lockouts to tire repairs and battery installations. You'll use your mechanical know-how and problem-solving skills to assess situations quickly and get Members back on their way - all while communicating clearly and courteously with Members and Dispatchers to ensure timely, dependable service.

We're looking for safety-minded, reliable team players who thrive in dynamic environments and take ownership of their work. This position is commencing immediately

Shift Rotation Schedule:

4 days on followed by 4 days off, 12 hour shifts.

Job Classification & Pre Employment Testing:

This position is classified as safety sensitive. As part of CAA Atlantic's commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, successful candidates will be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and physical fit-for-duty assessment as a condition of employment
