Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking an EMT-ACP for Kindersley Health Centre in the Ambulance - Land department. The part-time regular position (0.75 FTE) covers days, nights, evenings, weekends and standby shifts, with an on-call requirement and 336 hours per rotation.

Required ACP with PALS/ACLS/BLS, Class 4 licensure, and HCP-C; priority given to HSAS members. Eligibility for recruitment/retention incentives may apply.

Qualifications

• ACP required.
• PALS and EMT-P/ACP certifications preferred.
• Class 4 driver’s license and HCP-C required.
• Registered or eligible for registration with licensing body.

Responsibilities

• Respond to EMS calls per dispatch; assess, treat and transport patients.
• Cover standby assignments as operations require.

Job Description: The EMT-ACP will respond to calls for service as per dispatch instructions, providing assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons. The EMT-ACP will cover standby assignment, as operations require. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS membersin accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
