Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority's Meadow Lake Hospital in Meadow Lake, SK is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician for a part‑time permanent role. You will provide emergent and non-emergent Basic Life Support (BLS) services and ensure continuity of patient care until a Paramedic or hospital staff take over.

Preference will be given to HSAS members per the collective agreement. Valid Class 4 driver's license and BLS certification are required; PCP level is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary health care team.
• Ability to perform under pressure and in dynamic EMS environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergent and non-emergent Basic Life Support (BLS) services.
• Maintain patient care until responsibility transfers to hospital staff or a Paramedic.
• Collaborate with hospital and EMS teams to ensure smooth patient handoffs.
