Job summary

The Saskatchewan Health Authority in Meadow Lake is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic Coordinator for a full-time, permanent position. The role involves delivering ALS services to the sick and injured and maintaining coverage until hospital authorities assume responsibility.

Shifts include days, nights, and weekends with 14 shifts of 12 hours per 4 weeks. Preference may be given to HSAS members per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.

Qualifications

• Emergency Medical Technician Paramedics provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) services.

Responsibilities

Job Description: Emergency Medical Technician Paramedics are responsible for providing emergent and non-emergent Advanced Life Support (ALS) services to the sick and injured, and for continuing to provide ALS medical services until responsibility for patient care can be assumed by hospital authorities. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
