Job summary

Stok seeks an Embodied Carbon Analyst to join our Carbon Services Team, focusing on quantifying and reducing life-cycle impacts for developments and portfolios. Ideal candidates have LCA experience in real estate, strong data skills, and the ability to communicate complex results to diverse audiences.

The role includes performing wbLCA, leveraging OneClick LCA, and collaborating with PMs on design strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture, structural engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience.
At least one year of full-time, hands-on experience in LCA methodologies within the real estate industry.
Intermediate command of OneClick LCA, with some experience in other software tools such as EC3, and/or TallyCAT.

Responsibilities

Quantify the carbon emissions for new development and tenant improvement projects, including global portfolio operations.
Perform wbLCA and provide recommendations to reduce life-cycle impacts and align with certification frameworks.
Act as a reviewer for wbLCA calculations and results to ensure accuracy of final values.
Collect, track, and analyze data on energy use, waste generation, building construction, and transportation.
Develop reports and presentations that verbally and visually communicate environmental impact data and recommendations.
