    • Support team members through regular check-ins, workload and project pipeline management, technical guidance, mentorship, and professional development.

    • Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and performance management activities.

    • Maintain visibility across active projects to identify improvement opportunities and assess the team's overall impact.

    • Contribute directly to billable client engagements, balancing project delivery with broader leadership responsibilities.

  • Service Innovation and Business Growth

    • Lead workflow standardization, optimization, and innovation initiatives in collaboration with technical leadership and the wider team.

    • Support business development through client sales conversations, proposal preparation, engagement scoping, fee development, and resource planning.

    • Refine go-to-market strategies, pricing, sales approaches, marketing activities, and revenue projections with relevant internal stakeholders.

    • Serve as a subject matter expert on embodied carbon accounting, market trends, and building- and portfolio-level decarbonization practices.

  • Client Relationships and Industry Leadership

    • Act as a trusted advisor to existing and prospective clients, strengthening relationships, supporting retention, and identifying opportunities for growth.

    • Represent the organization at industry conferences, professional associations, and other relevant events.

    • Promote practical, high-impact approaches to reducing embodied carbon across real estate projects and portfolios.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of commercial development lifecycles, LEED certification requirements, whole-building life cycle assessment (LCA), and practical approaches to reducing emissions through materials and design.

  • A bachelor's degree in structural engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Previous experience in team leadership or management, including direct staff support, mentorship, and performance development.

  • Significant consulting experience, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration and delivery for large corporate clients.

  • Experience leading business innovation, workflow improvements, or change management initiatives.

  • Direct involvement in LEED and International Living Future Institute (ILFI) certification projects.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to executive-level audiences.

  • A collaborative leadership approach that balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Power BI dashboards, One Click LCA, Revit, architectural drawings, and bills of materials.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accurate, efficient project delivery.
