About Into The Light Ministries

Into The Light Ministries creates free, high-quality video resources to equip the church to love God's design for sexuality and confront the harms of pornography. Our mission is to help parents, pastors, and individuals pursue truth, healing, and wholeness in the area of sexual discipleship. All our resources are offered at no cost, but users must register with their email and identify their primary role (struggler, parent, pastor, etc.), which allows us to serve them more effectively.

Role Summary

We are looking for a HubSpot Marketing Automation Specialist to help build and optimize complex email campaigns and user journeys in HubSpot. You will take strategic direction, customer personas, and pre-written content from our team and translate them into well-structured, conditional email flows. The goal is to engage our audience, deepen their use of our resources, and guide the right people toward meaningful next steps—including donor engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build multi-stage email workflows in HubSpot, using conditional logic, delays, triggers, and goals.
  • Integrate these workflows with website behavior, including form submissions, video access, and page views.
  • Use HubSpot tools to segment contacts based on personas and activity.
  • Maintain clean CRM lists and ensure proper tagging and tracking of user actions.
  • Coordinate with our internal team to schedule, test, and monitor campaign performance.
  • Suggest optimizations based on KPIs like open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience building HubSpot email automation workflows.
  • Deep knowledge of HubSpot CRM, email, and workflow tools.
  • Ability to take a strategy and content outline and translate it into efficient, scalable automation.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit, ministry, or donor funnel environments is a strong plus.
  • HubSpot certifications (e.g., Email Marketing, Marketing Hub) are preferred but not required.
Nice to Have
  • Comfort with basic HTML/CSS for email formatting.
  • Experience using tools like Lucidchart, Whimsical, or Miro to visualize user journeys.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot Reporting, or Looker Studio.
