Job summary

BioUrja Group is seeking an Elevator Technician for their Wiggins, CO facility. The role involves general labor to support grain activities, backfilling, bulking, and other duties as assigned.

The position requires at least 2 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, and the ability to interpret written and oral instructions. Grain industry experience is a plus, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provides general assistance to facility operations
• Performs cleaning duties such as sweeping and washing surfaces.
• Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Reliable and regular attendance is expected.
• Follow applicable safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site-specific safety plans when performing cleanup activities and donning protective gear.
• Operate routinely used tools and equipment
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Operate load and unload equipment from vehicles, trailers and trains

We are federally licensed and bonded warehousemen that trade whole grains, feed ingredients, freight, and other commodities within North America.

Description

We are headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska and have ten locations spread across three states. The company controls nearly 20 million bushels of elevator space though ownership or lease agreements.

We are looking for an Elevator Technician based out of our Wiggins, CO facility. This position performs necessary general labor functions onsite, including but not limited to, support of grain activities, backfilling, bulking, and/or other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Provides general assistance to facility operations
• Performs cleaning duties such as sweeping and washing surfaces.
