Job summary

Qualitrol in Mississauga, ON is seeking an Electronics Technologist to assemble, test, troubleshoot and repair monitoring devices used in power utilities and heavy industry.

The role requires a 2-year college diploma and hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, and reading schematics; you will work in a production lab, help ensure quality, and support on-time delivery with meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-year College Diploma.
  • Use of standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and signal generators.
  • Ability to read electronic schematics.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Read and understand drawings and assembly procedures.
  • General mechanical aptitude/assembly experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair monitoring devices per specifications.
  • Inspect soldering of circuit boards and test circuits/instrumentation.
  • Perform high-voltage testing of components and instrumentation.
  • Ensure product quality and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain accurate work instructions and participate in repair meetings.
