Job summary

QUALITROL in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking an Electronics Technologist to assemble, test and repair monitoring devices used by power utilities worldwide.

You will read schematics, inspect PCB soldering, perform high‑voltage tests, and help maintain repair parts, while ensuring on‑time delivery and product quality. This role requires a minimum 2‑year college diploma and proficiency with oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year College Diploma.
• Use of standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and signal generators.
• Ability to read electronic schematics.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Read and understand drawings and assembly procedures.
• General mechanical aptitude/assembly experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair monitoring devices used by power utilities and industries worldwide.
• Inspect soldering of circuit boards.
• Test circuit boards and instrumentation/products.
• Troubleshoot and repair items to fix out-of-specifications.
• Assist in preparation and assembly of instruments, cables, and components as required.
• Perform high-voltage testing of components and instrumentation.
• Ensure product quality at all levels and on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate work instructions and participate in troubleshooting meetings.
