Job description

Join to apply for the Electronic Field Technician role at Brandt Group of Companies.

Brandt is currently seeking an Electronic Field Technician for our Saskatoon Positioning Technology location.

This position is responsible for performing installations, calibrations, commissioning, service, and repair of various machine control systems. These systems include electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic components installed on heavy equipment such as crawler dozers, motor graders, excavators, skid steers, paving systems, and more. Work may be performed in the field or in a workshop environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections, testing, diagnostics, and repairs on electronic devices and components
  • Open, maintain, and close work orders
  • Submit technician reports and other relevant documentation based on work completed
  • Provide internal and external customer phone support
  • Mentor, train, and supervise other service team members
  • Travel as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
