Job summary

Energy Job Shop is seeking an experienced Electrician General Foreman to lead electrical scopes on major industrial projects in Fort McMurray, AB. You will supervise multiple crews, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with other disciplines to maintain project progress.

The role requires a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certificate and 5+ years of leadership experience in industrial electrical construction, with strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and P&ID interpretation.

Qualifications

• Valid Red Seal Journeyman Electrician Certificate (recognized in Alberta).
• Minimum 5+ years of field leadership experience in industrial electrical construction.
• 2–3+ years as a foreman or general foreman.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Experience with scheduling, manpower planning, and productivity tracking.
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in field documentation.
• Ability to lift and carry objects independently or as a team.
• Ability to meet and maintain site access requirements.
