Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort is hiring an Electrician Apprentice in Ontario. You will service, install and replace electrical water heaters, diagnose electrical issues, and support installation activities with a focus on safety and customer service.

The role requires a registered apprentice with the Ontario College of Trades (309A) and a clean driver's abstract. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in electrical work, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to grow with a leader in

Qualifications

• Must be a registered apprentice with the Ontario College of Trades (309A).
• 3+ years in electrical would be ideal – apprentice experience.
• Must have a driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Physically capable of performing all required work.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, installing, and replacing electrical water heaters.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in domestic systems.
• Set priorities and meet established deadlines.
• Assist the electrician in diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and installation.
• Adhere to safety rules, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Educate customers on electrical work in homes and explain value of Reliance products.

• Perform and assist the electrician in diagnostics, repair, maintenance, service, and install equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Perform general and specific equipment inspections.
• Educate customers on electrical work in homes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations.
• Explain the value of Reliance products, services, and programs on every call.
