Job summary

Reliance Comfort Limited Partnership o/a Reliance Home Comfort is seeking an Electrician to diagnose, repair and install electrical systems in residential settings. You will provide professional, customer-focused service and uphold safety standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Red Seal Electrician license, have a valid driver’s license, and can communicate effectively with homeowners. You’ll work with fully stocked trucks and access ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Electrician license required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical problems in residential systems.

Responsibilities

• Represent Reliance in a professional, courteous and customer service-oriented manner on each and every call.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in residential systems, including fault-finding, panel changes, generator installation, and wiring.
• Accurately estimate repair costs and communicate value to homeowners.
• Set priorities and work assignments to meet deadlines.
• Perform diagnostics, repair, maintenance, service and install equipment per manufacturer specifications.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulatory requirements.

What will you do?

• Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.

• Represent Reliance in a professional, courteous and customer service-oriented manner on each and every call.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in domestic electrical systems, including but is not limited to fault-finding, panel changes, generator installation, knob and tube removal, home rewiring etc.
• Accurately estimate repair costs, fixed right the first time and continual value-added communication with the homeowner
• Set priorities and work assignments to meet established deadlines
• Perform diagnostics, repair, maintain, service and install equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Perform general and specific equipment inspections
• Educate customers on electrical work in homes
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations
• Explain the value of Reliance products, services and programs on every call
