Job summary

Sandvik Winnipeg seeks a licensed Electrician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical aspects of mining equipment. You will read electrical diagrams, install high/low voltage assemblies, and diagnose faults on Sandvik machinery.

Applicants should have 2–5 years’ experience, a valid Electrician license, and the ability to work legally in Canada. On-site role with competitive benefits and growth opportunities at Sandvik.

Responsibilities

  • Follow scopes of work to meet delivery targets.
  • Install high/low voltage assemblies into mobile equipment.
  • Inspect equipment for proper performance and diagnose faults.
  • Adjust equipment and repair/replace defective parts or systems.
  • Compile parts and labor estimates and communicate to supervisor.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation.
