Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Product Technical Specialist - ITH Drills in Winnipeg, MB. You will serve as a technical resource for Sandvik ITH drilling equipment, training technicians and customers, and supporting internal and external teams across Canada.

The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, pre-sales and post-sales support, and ongoing collaboration to ensure equipment operates optimally in demanding mining environments. Strong communication and travel up to 70% are required.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years of technical experience.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electronic systems.
• Mining, drilling or heavy mobile equipment experience valued.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Train technical teams in sales areas and end customers for underground drilling equipment.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support including commissioning, installation, testing and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve complex technical problems; develop innovative solutions.
• Research, evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades to meet customer needs.
• Establish and maintain relationships to secure future business; train customers on equipment features.
