Davie in Canada seeks an Electrician to install, connect, and repair electrical and electronic systems aboard ships. You will read plans, assemble connectors, install cable trays, seal penetrations, diagnose faults and support equipment commissioning.
You'll work various shifts in a unionized shipyard environment with a comprehensive benefits package and relocation support for eligible employees. A valid CCQ or equivalent card and Canadian residency are required.

You will report to the Foreman and be responsible for installing, connecting, and repairing electrical and electronic systems aboard ships. Your duties include reading and interpreting plans, connecting components, assembling connectors, installing cable trays, performing electrical penetration sealing, diagnosing faults, and participating in equipment commissioning and providing necessary technical support.
You must be available for all shifts. While we consider your schedule preferences (day, evening, weekend) when creating schedules, they cannot be guaranteed.
Relocation allowance for unionised production and maintenance employees: up to $2,500 for a single person or couple, and $4,000 for a family. Full details will be discussed during the hiring process.
