Davie seeks a Welder–Fitter to weld, layout, cut, form, and assemble metal parts per drawings. You will set up equipment, replace electrodes, and conduct leak tests, using patterns and jigs. Profiling machines will be used to fit and align components while ensuring quality standards.
The role requires DEP in Welding and Fitting, with welding experience and a CWB FCAW certification considered an asset. Relocation support is available for the right candidate in Canada.
As a Welder–Fitter, you will perform electric arc welding, layout, cutting, forming, and assembly of metal parts according to drawings and specifications. You will set up and maintain equipment, and replace electrode wires as needed. You will carry out leak tests, apply joints, and work with patterns and jigs. You will operate profiling machines and handle the fitting, alignment, and straightening of metal components, while meeting all quality standards.
You must be available for all shifts. While we consider your schedule preferences (day, evening, weekend) when creating schedules, they cannot be guaranteed.
