Job summary

Right Time Heating and Air Conditioning in Dartmouth, NS, is seeking energetic electricians to install and service residential electrical and HVAC systems. Journeyperson status or licensed 309A/309C is required, with Generac generator familiarity and strong customer-service skills.

You will lead projects, educate customers, inspect systems, and drive growth through new electrical initiatives while maintaining safety and quality on every call.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Certification with FSR or Apprentice / Licensed 309A or 309C with a Master Electrician License.
• Familiarity with Residential HVAC, Generac Generator applications, HVAC and Plumbing.
• Strong customer service skills and good communication abilities.
• Willingness to learn and safety-conscious attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the successful completion of residential electrical & HVAC projects.
• Perform residential service & install work on Air Conditioners, Heat Pumps, and heating systems.
• Contribute to departmental growth through project targets and new electrical initiatives.
• Educate customers on the operation of their residential electrical infrastructure.
• Complete general and specific electrical inspections.

What we are looking for:

We require energetic, motivated and career-minded Electricians to be responsible for performing onsite installation and maintenance in residential homes.

• Journeypersons Certification with FSR or Apprentice / Licensed 309A or 309C with a valid Master Electrician License
• Familiarity with Residential and Generac Generator applications, HVAC and Plumbing (Asset)
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively individually and within a team environment
• Strong customer service skills and good communication skills
• An accountable and responsible personality, delivering high customer satisfaction and has a positive, can-do attitude
• Valid Driver's License with a clean record
• Clear criminal record
• Be safety conscious and come with a willingness to learn.

What will you do:

We want our Electricians to become masters of their trade and always give customers the red carpet treatment advising them on potential services or treatments that work for them.

• Lead in the successful completion of residential electrical & HVAC projects
• Perform residential service & install work on Air Conditioners, Heat Pumps, and heating systems
• Contribute to departmental growth through project targets and new electrical initiatives
• Educate customers on the operation of their residential electrical infrastructure
• Complete general and specific Electrical inspections
• Promote Right Time products and services on every call
• Must never sell the customer a repair they do not need
• Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams
• Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional
• Provide a five-star experience on every call or make it right before leaving the customers home
• Feel comfortable requesting online reviews from customers
• Contribute to our high standards of health and safety
• Effectively mentor apprentices so they become well rounded electricians.
