Job summary

Haven Home in Kingston, Ontario, is seeking energetic Electrical Apprentices for onsite installation and maintenance in residential settings. You will perform electrical and HVAC work, learn advanced techniques, and deliver high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in residential electrical & HVAC project completion.
• Perform installation and service on Air Conditioners, Heat Pumps, and heating systems.
• Contribute to departmental growth through targets and new electrical initiatives.
• Educate customers on operation of their residential electrical systems.
• Conduct general electrical inspections and promote Right Time products.

What we are looking for:

We require energetic, motivated and career-minded Electrical Apprentices to be responsible for performing onsite installation and maintenance in residential homes.

• Electrical Apprentice License
• Familiarity with Residential and Generac Generator applications, HVAC and Plumbing (Asset)
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively individually and within a team environment
• Strong customer service skills and good communication skills
• An accountable and responsible personality, delivering high customer satisfaction and has a positive, can-do attitude
• Valid Driver's License with a clean record
• Clear criminal record
• Be safety conscious and come with a willingness to learn.

What will you do:

We want our Electrical Apprentices to become masters of their trade and always give customers the red carpet treatment advising them on potential services or treatments that work for them.

• Help in the successful completion of residential electrical & HVAC projects
• Perform residential service & install work on Air Conditioners, Heat Pumps, and heating systems
• Contribute to departmental growth through project targets and new electrical initiatives
• Educate customers on the operation of their residential electrical infrastructure
• Complete general and specific Electrical inspections
• Promote Right Time products and services on every call
• Must never sell the customer a repair they do not need
• Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams
• Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional
• Provide a five-star experience on every call or make it right before leaving the customers home
• Feel comfortable requesting online reviews from customers
• Contribute to our high standards of health and safety
