Job summary

InterPro Pipe + Steel seeks a skilled Electrician for our Camrose facility to inspect, repair, and maintain critical electrical equipment and systems essential to production uptime.

The role requires expertise in PLC controls, electrical schematics, and maintenance planning. You will work independently and as part of a team, ensuring safety and compliance with electrical codes while supporting continuous operations.

Qualifications

  • Must have electrician certification/license.
  • Experience with PLC control systems and industrial maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment.
  • Read and interpret schematic diagrams, wiring drawings and electrical blueprints.
  • Work with PLC control systems, including troubleshooting and basic programming knowledge.
  • Support production equipment uptime and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.

Job Description And Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity awaits at our expanding Interpro Camrose facility! We’re seeking a skilled and experienced full-time Electrician to join our growing team.

In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by inspecting, repairing, and maintaining critical electrical equipment.

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and electrical systems
  • Diagnose electrical and control system issues efficiently
  • Read and interpret schematic diagrams, wiring drawings, and electrical blueprints
  • Work with PLC control systems, including troubleshooting and basic programming knowledge
  • Inspect motors, sensors, relays, drives, panels, and automation equipment
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and electrical codes
  • Support production equipment uptime and minimize downtime
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
  • Routine preventive maintenance, electrical inspections and testing, equipment troubleshooting and repairs
  • Panel wiring and control system maintenance, motor and drive servicing

Requirements
  • Electrician certification/license
  • Experience working with PLC control systems, Allen Bradley preferred
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
  • Oracle eAM or other CMMS experience
