enCompass Solutions Group is seeking an Electrical Panel Assembler in Port Coquitlam to build Industrial Control Panels (ICP's) from provided drawings and BOMs. You will mount components, terminate wiring, and ensure layouts match schematics for diverse markets.

This full-time role emphasizes accuracy, independent work, and safety. Growth toward supervisory duties is possible; benefits and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experienced with electrical schematics and layouts; willing to learn, share, and train.
• 2 years of industrial control panel assembling or similar experience.
• Highly detail oriented, organized, good MS Office skills.
• Ability to work independently as required.
• Ideally UL508A MTR certification, or willingness to pursue certification.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Industrial Control Panels (ICP's) to provided drawing sets.
• Review BOMs to ensure devices and materials are available prior to assembly.
• Mount electrical components and terminate to drawing sets.
• Interpret electrical schematics and layouts and redline if necessary.
• Assist in the test setup and certification of ICP's.
• Collaborate with team to improve assembly processes and techniques.
• Work safely with hand and power tools and maintain high conduct standards.

Due to our continued growth and success, we are currently recruiting an Electrical Panel Assembler to join our team at our office located in Port Coquitlam. enCompass Solutions Group services customers in a variety of markets, including Ports and Terminals, Industrial (Metals, Paper, Chemical, Mining), General Industry (Automotive, Manufacturing), Utility (Power Plants, Water and Wastewater), Marine, Oil and Gas, Mining, and others.

What You'll Be Doing

The duties of the Electrical Panel Assembler include but are not limited to:

• Assemble Industrial Control Panels (ICP's) to provided drawing sets
• Review BOM's to ensure all devices and materials are available prior to assembly
• Mount electrical components i.e. terminal blocks, control relays, circuit breakers, VFD's, PLC's, HMI's, power supplies, etc. and correctly terminate to provided drawing sets
• Interpret and act upon electrical schematics and layouts and red line if necessary
• Assist in the test setup and certification of ICP's
• Work with the Team to improve panel assembly process and techniques
• Work safely and efficiently with various hand and power tools such as screw drivers, drills, jig saw, ferrule crimpers, forklift, etc. and maintain a high standard of conduct
