Job summary

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Panel Builder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and testing electrical control panels and other electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electromechanical assembly and wiring of industrial control panels.
  • Perform layout, drilling, punching, tapping, and mounting of components.
  • Suggest replacements for any electrical parts that are obsolete.
  • Work with plans, including layouts, schematics, and bills of material.
  • Work with procurement to purchase the proper parts or equivalencies.
  • Work with project managers and coordinators to ensure panels are completed on time and meet quality needs.
  • Test, label all components and have an extremely clean installation.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Two-year technical degree or certificate in electrical or electronics or professional experience.
  • Understanding of electrical systems and AC/DC electrical circuits.
  • Understanding of testing equipment and a very keen attention to detail.
  • Time management and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to read electronic schematics and drawings.
  • Regularly required to stand, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
