Job summary

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd in Grande Prairie is seeking Industrial Electrical Journeyman & Apprentices for construction projects across Western Canada. The role offers full-time work on oil & gas industrial sites with established clients and opportunities for career advancement.

Ideal candidates will hold a Journeyman Electrician credential or be indentured in the electrical trade (1st–4th year), possess required safety certifications, and be prepared for shift work, overtime, weekends

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician or indentured in electrical trade (1st–4th year)
• Valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive, Fall Protection, and Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED) certificates
• CSTS 2020 Fundamentals certificate
• Must have flexible schedule—shiftwork, overtime, weekends, and travel
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work on full-time industrial projects in oil & gas across Western Canada.
• Contribute to construction and maintenance electrical work.
• Collaborate with teams across shifts and travel as required.

Job description

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is currently seeking Industrial Electrical Journeyman & Apprentices for construction projects with our Grande Prairie branch.

Techmation works on a variety of industrial oil and gas construction and maintenance projects throughout Western Canada. As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time industrial projects with well-established and reputable clients.

Requirements:

• Journeyman Electricians, OR
• Indentured Electrical Apprentices (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Year), OR
• Applicants interested in being indentured in the trade
• Candidates must have valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive & Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020 Fundamentals Certificates
• Must have a flexible work schedule - shiftwork, overtime, weekends, and travel
• Valid Class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
