Qualifications

About The Role

We are hiring one (1) Electrical Engineering Management Trainee, or “G. Future,” in our Engineering/CAPEX department.

About Us

Gerdau is a major steel manufacturing company, operating in 10 countries with over 30,000 employees. Our North American divisions produce long and special steel products for various markets, utilizing efficient and environmentally friendly practices, including electric arc furnace (EAF) technology, making our steel one of the greenest options available.

G. Future Program

This program is designed to develop our future leaders through an 18-month intensive training involving on-the-job learning, classroom instruction, coaching, and mentorship, aiming to prepare participants for managerial and technical roles.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess or will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering by June 2025.
• Graduated within the past 3 years with up to 3 years of full-time work experience.
• High academic achievement (GPA 3.0 or above preferred).
• Leadership experience in student organizations or extracurricular activities.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel within the US and Canada during the program.
