Job summary

Intero Integrity in Toronto is seeking an Electrical Engineering Team Lead to coordinate daily activities, mentor engineers, and drive technical direction within the Technology Center. You will review schematics and PCB layouts, ensure processes and release practices are followed, and partner with project managers to keep projects moving forward while team members develop their skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on electrical engineering experience.
• Minimum 2 years technical leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong schematic and PCB design experience with Altium.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities within the Electrical Engineering team.
• Support engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, and removing obstacles to progress.
• Help maintain awareness of team workload, priorities, and support needs.
• Review schematics, PCB layouts, and electrical documentation.

• Support feasibility assessments and technical decision-making.

Intero Integrity Services provides inspection, industrial, and environmental services that help operators maintain the safety, reliability, and performance of critical infrastructure worldwide. Using advanced sensing technologies, robotics, and data-driven inspection methods, Intero supports clients throughout the lifecycle of their assets.

The Toronto Technology Center focuses on the development of robotic inspection systems designed to operate in challenging pipeline environments where conventional inspection tools cannot be used. Multidisciplinary teams work closely together to design, build, test, and refine these systems in-house.

About the Role

The Electrical Engineering Team Lead supports the coordination and technical direction of the Electrical Engineering team within the Technology Center. This role combines hands‑on technical oversight with supporting engineers in their day‑to‑day work so projects move forward effectively and consistently.

The Team Lead works closely with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to maintain strong engineering quality, ensure processes are followed, and support an environment where team members can do their best work and continue developing their skills.
