Job summary

Matalco Canada Inc. in Brampton is seeking an Electrical Engineer to oversee all electrical engineering activities at the Brampton facility and to manage the day-to-day responsibilities of the electricians.

Key focus areas include health and safety, quality, and environmental policies, plus driving maintenance programs and process improvements to ensure reliable equipment and prime quality products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or automation engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in electrical or automation engineering in an industrial setting.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop employees; leadership experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform circuit planning, power distribution and testing.
• Provide 24/7 maintenance support to ensure high equipment availability.
• Supervise maintenance team, schedule work and manage PMs.
