EXP Brampton, ON seeks an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a team of electrical engineers and designers in delivering complex oil, gas, and chemical-sector projects. The role combines technical leadership with people management to ensure design quality, schedule adherence, and budget control.

The candidate will mentor staff, oversee deliverables, and participate in safety reviews; P.Eng. eligibility preferred. Salary range CAD 175k–200k, employee ownership company, located in Brampton.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• P.Eng. or eligibility preferred.
• Approximately 15 years of electrical engineering experience in industrial sectors.
• Experience leading electrical design for complex projects with budget/schedule oversight.
• Experience mentoring engineers and designers is essential.
• Experience with safety reviews (HAZOP, PHA) is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership across disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership and management oversight for electrical engineering work within oil, gas, and chemical-sector projects.
• Lead, supervise, mentor, and support electrical engineers, designers, and staff in their responsibilities.
• Oversee design concepts and ensure proper technical application and coordination across project teams.
• Review quality of electrical deliverables including specs, reports, drawings, and equipment selections.
• Lead the design team in delivering documents on time and within budget.
• Support front-end loading and early-stage electrical planning for projects.
• Participate in safety and risk reviews (HAZOP, PHA) as applicable.
• Contribute to company electrical design standards and master specifications.
