Job summary

KGS Group is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our Winnipeg-based Electrical Department. You will provide engineering input for projects of varying sizes, coordinate deliverables with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders, and help ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

You’ll support project management, coordinate with internal and external clients, and mentor engineers on the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 7-15 years of experience in electrical engineering with some project management skills.
• Must be registered or eligible for registration as a professional engineer with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior engineers on multiple projects from proposal through completion.
• Coordinate deliverables with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
• Support project management and coordinate with internal/external clients; contribute to design drawings and specifications.
• Pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
