Job summary

KGS Group is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer in Regina/Saskatoon to manage mechanical industrial projects, provide technical support on large multidisciplinary programs, and mentor junior staff. You will perform mechanical analysis and design for diverse industries, prepare reports, and collaborate with teams to ensure budgets and schedules are met.

The role requires PE registration in Canada and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of mechanical engineering experience with project management.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships across multiple projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Registration as a professional engineer with APEGS and other Canadian provinces is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage small mechanical industrial projects from proposal to completion, including budgets and client relationships.
• Provide technical project support on large multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Mechanical engineering analysis and design for diverse industries.
• Prepare reports and coordinate with project management team to meet schedules and budgets.
• Mentor junior staff as required.
