Job summary

Hatch in Calgary, Alberta, seeks an Electrical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to support the Project Delivery Group. You will assist with industrial electrical design for LV, MV and HV distribution, develop single line diagrams, protection schemes, and perform studies using EasyPower/ETAP.

Reporting to the CA&E discipline lead, you’ll contribute to global projects from our Calgary office. You are graduating in 2027 or a recent electrical engineering graduate, with solid knowledge of power

Qualifications

Graduating in 2027 or recent graduate in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
Good academic standing with extracurricular/volunteer involvement.

Responsibilities

Industrial electrical design for LV, MV and HV power distribution including single line diagrams and protection/control schemes.
Electrical system modelling and studies using EasyPower/ETAP.
Development of technical specifications, reports and construction work packages.
Power system control programming, configuration, on-site implementation and commissioning.
Collaborating with project team members, clients and vendors.
