Job summary

Jobtailor in Montreal, Canada, seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a power systems specialization to lead HV/MV design, analysis and commissioning across public transportation projects.

You will run ETAP simulations, size equipment, define protection and grounding, and ensure CSA and IEEE standards compliance, while supporting testing, validation and on-site integration with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in power systems.
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
• At least 10 years of experience with HV/MV systems, including design, analysis, and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of HV/MV electrical equipment and its integration.
• Expertise in electrical protection, including relays, fuses, and coordination.
• Experience with simulation tools such as ETAP.
• Good knowledge of applicable standards, including CSA and IEEE standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Perform advanced analyses of network performance, reliability, and safety
