ComForCare Home Care Saskatchewan is seeking a caring Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our casual team in Yorkton, SK. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, mobility support, meals, and light housekeeping, with transportation to appointments when needed.

We value compassion, reliability, and strong communication. A valid driver’s license and a clear criminal record check are required; one year of caregiving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of caregiving experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care.
• CCA certification is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
• Clear criminal record check including vulnerable sector check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and hygiene.
• Support safe mobility, transfers, and prescribed range-of-motion exercises.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed.
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and run errands using approved transportation.
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Offer respite support for family caregivers.
• Follow care plans, document care provided, and report changes promptly.

Your Role
