ComForCare Home Care Saskatchewan in Prince Albert, SK is seeking a compassionate Caregiver / Personal Support Worker to join our casual team. You’ll help clients live their best lives in the comfort of their own homes.

This casual position offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay of $16.00–$17.00 per hour based on experience, and opportunities to start right away. Duties include personal care, mobility support, meals, light housekeeping, companionship, and errands.

Qualifications

• At least one year of caregiving experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care.
• CCA certification is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (required).
• Clear criminal record check including vulnerable sector check.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, hygiene).
• Support safe mobility and transfers.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating.
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands.
• Provide companionship and engagement.
• Respite support for family caregivers.
• Follow personalized care plans and report changes.

Your Role

Depending on each client's care plan, you will:

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and hygiene.


• Support safe mobility, transfers, and prescribed range-of-motion exercises.


• Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed.


• Help with light housekeeping and laundry.


• Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with errands, including shopping and prescription pickups, using approved transportation arrangements.


• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement.


• Offer respite support for family caregivers.


• Follow personalized care plans, document care provided, and promptly report changes or concerns.

What You Bring

• At least one year of caregiving experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care setting.


• Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) certification is an asset.


• A valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle (required).


• A clear criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector check.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.


• A compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care.


• Dependability and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the care team.
