Job summary

Kiknu, Nova Scotia’s first long term care home on a First Nation community, is seeking a Community Manager to join the Kiknu team in Eskasoni, Nova Scotia. You will provide clinical leadership to ensure culturally competent elder care and oversee the clinical team within Monday–Friday hours, with some after-hours events and emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing and current registration with the Provincial Association of Registered Nurses.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Advanced proficiency in English; Mi’kmaq knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the Elders' care.
Oversee electronic documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
Foster communication with staff, residents, and families to support quality care.
