Job summary

Maple Lodge Farms is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to support the development and implementation of EHS programs for Brampton and Mississauga facilities. The role requires maintaining compliance, reporting on effectiveness, and leading site teams with strong safety leadership.

You will collaborate with managers, monitor OHSA and regulatory requirements, deliver training, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OHSA, EPA, Ontario Regulations and WSIB applications

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of MLHC’s EHS programs, policies and systems.
• Assist in the development of initiatives to reduce Environmental, Health & Safety risks and hazards.
• Support communication and implementation of policies, standards and SOPs.
• Coordinate and execute Pre-Start Engineering Reviews for new equipment purchases.
• Provide Health & Safety guidance to Managers and Supervisors.
• Investigate injuries, incidents, near misses and support root cause analysis.
