Job summary

Saint-Gobain is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead EHS programs at Acton Plant and Milton Warehouse in Canada. You will oversee risk assessments, training, incident investigations and maintain compliance with provincial safety standards while fostering an autonomous EHS culture.

You will coach hourly and salaried teams, collaborate with Engineering, Operations and HR to drive continuous improvement and regulatory alignment across facilities.

Qualifications

• University degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Relations or a related field.
• Experience leading EHS in a manufacturing environment (3–5 years).
• Ability to influence others and lead change in a union setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor local EHS teams including contractors.
• Ensure compliance with government safety regulations and Saint-Gobain standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and investigate incidents to implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training and initiatives to drive a proactive EHS culture.
