Saint-Gobain is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead EHS programs at Acton Plant and Milton Warehouse in Canada. You will oversee risk assessments, training, incident investigations and maintain compliance with provincial safety standards while fostering an autonomous EHS culture.
You will coach hourly and salaried teams, collaborate with Engineering, Operations and HR to drive continuous improvement and regulatory alignment across facilities.

Reporting to the Acton Plant Manager, the EHS Manager will support the Acton Plant and Milton Warehouse. The EHS Manager is the front-line point of contact for occupational risk management and environmental protection & conservation.
Requirements
PREFERRED OR DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
Prepares capital cost estimates for expenditures that support our goals and may control aspects of expenditures within the approved budget. Tender negotiations with approved vendors.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Works in a manufacturing plant environment with limited HVAC, concrete floors, and exposure to industrial noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature changes. Normal plant operation is 24 hours, 7 days a week and work hours may vary depending on business needs. May require long hours, and weekend and holiday work. May require travel by air and rental cars.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to spend a significant amount of time on plant floor. Job includes tasks that require long periods of sitting, walking, standing, working on a computer, or engaging in telephone conversation. Must be capable of wearing personal protective equipment necessary to comply with government and company safety standards whenever engineered methods of reducing hazards or physical requirements cannot be reasonably accommodated

Certain provinces require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates, the base pay range for this position is $90,500 to $115,000per year. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures.
