EHS & Export Compliance Specialist

Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking an EHS Specialist 1 to lead site-wide safety programs and occupational health initiatives across manufacturing operations. You will report to the General Manager and partner with the Sr EHS Manager to reduce hazards and foster a zero-incident culture, while serving as the site Facility Compliance Officer for export compliance matters.

Responsibilities include policy development, risk assessments, training, environmental reporting, and audit support.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a safety/health/engineering related field and related disciplines.
• Experience: 1–3+ years in safety, industrial hygiene, or EHS in manufacturing.
• Regulatory Knowledge: OSHA regulations, hazard communication, LOTO, machine guarding, PPE.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety program development and execution to align with OSHA, state, and federal standards.
• Identify hazards, perform risk assessments, JSAs, and root-cause investigations; track action items.
• Promote a safety culture on the manufacturing floor and drive cross-functional change.
• Collaborate with plant leadership, production, and maintenance to embed safety in workflows.
• Lead the site Safety Committee and oversee safety and IH projects.
• Support environmental compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting.
