Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. is seeking an EHS Coordinator for the Arctic Over the Horizon Radar Program in Ontario. You will ensure site safety compliance, conduct daily inspections, and lead accident investigations with corrective actions.

Reporting to the Director of Health and Safety, you will develop dashboards and reports to monitor H&S performance and drive continuous improvement across project teams, including cross-functional collaboration and on-site safety leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
Certificate in Health and Safety Coordination or NCSO designation.
Experience providing Health and Safety support in a construction environment.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with the laws and regulations applicable to construction sites.
Conduct daily inspections on site to ensure safety and health.
Notify emergency services in the event of an accident.
Intervene when there is a risk of accident and ensure completion of investigations.
Produce dashboards and reports using data from multiple sources to support H&S performance.
Monitor KPIs and prepare regular management reports.
Collaborate with field teams to identify improvements in H&S performance.
