Job summary

FedEx Canada in Charlottetown is seeking a delivery driver to provide courteous pick-up and delivery on an assigned route. You will check shipments, ensure proper labeling and paperwork, and report stop counts and missorts while representing FedEx Canada professionally.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift heavy packages, and good interpersonal skills. You will operate tracking systems and may assist with loading/unloading as workload dictates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and handle packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.
• 1 year customer-oriented business experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery on an assigned route.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada features of service.
• Provide related customer service functions.
• Operate computerized tracking and dispatch systems.
• Maintain professional appearance and be courteous to customers.
• Seek additional business from current customers and inform Sales of leads.
