Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in reliability engineering. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8+ years of experience and will be responsible for analyzing data from various sources to predict equipment failures and guide the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Analyze static, transactional, and cascading data obtained from Canadian assets to predict equipment or unit failures.
- Alarm Evaluation: Assess alarms from pressure transmitters and other devices to determine if they indicate real issues or faulty equipment.
- Trend Analysis: Develop, monitor, and interpret trends from multiple data streams, including calibration data sheets, P&ID diagrams, operational data, CMMS data, and PI Historian data.
- Reliability Assessment and Studies: Evaluate equipment functionality based on available data and provide reliability assessments.
- Criticality Assessment and Studies: Evaluate the criticality of equipment failures and recommend measures to prevent production losses.
- Maintenance Guidance: Communicate findings and trends to the maintenance team and suggest necessary actions.
- AI Integration: Utilize AI tools and the Asset Information Factory to enhance data analysis and generate insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in reliability engineering.
- Strong understanding of data analysis and trend monitoring.
- Ability to interpret and integrate data from multiple systems.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical information.
- Proficiency in AI tools and data analysis software.

- Data analyst with Mechanical engineering degree and reliability experience.
- Familiarity with CMMS and PI Historian systems.
