THE ROLE

Work within a team environment to facilitate profitable growth through managing materials, information, and procurement of goods and services. This pivotal role involves managing supplier partnerships, ensuring procurement process compliance, and leading strategic supply chain initiatives aligned with company needs. You will lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team, fostering continuous improvement. The role focuses on optimizing inventory, reducing costs, and enhancing supply chain efficiency while maintaining quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Implement and refine supply chain strategies aligned with TYCROP's business goals.
2. Supplier management: Develop relationships with North American suppliers, monitor performance metrics, and report on KPIs.
3. Cost management: Create strategies for cost reduction within the supply chain.
4. Risk management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, develop contingency plans, and monitor market conditions.
5. People management: Lead and mentor the supply chain team, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth.
6. Contract management: Negotiate, administer, and monitor supplier contracts to ensure compliance and performance.
7. Inventory management: Balance supply and demand by monitoring and optimizing inventory levels.
8. Procurement management: Oversee procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiations, and relationship management.
9. Collaborate with engineering, production, parts sales, and control teams to meet production schedules and ensure material availability.
10. Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement within manufacturing or automotive industries, including 3-5 years in leadership.
• Proven track record of achieving cost savings.
• Deep knowledge of supply chain management, contract law, and industry regulations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics tools.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
